About:

Carluccio’s is owned by John Hosier, who purchased the restaurant from the Carluccio family in 1999.  Hosier said he started as a waiter at Carluccio’s in 1997. He purchased the restaurant in 1999 when the Carluccios retired.

"What I liked about this place from the get-go," John explained, "Is the attention to the guest and how they were made to feel as comfortable and satisfied as possible. They had a ’take care of our guests attitude, and projected it to the staff, that attitude has stood the test of time."

John keeps that tradition alive and well. First of all, he’s the first person in the restaurant and the last to leave. He makes a point to stop at each table without fail.

"It’s like the TV show ’Cheers,’" he said. "Everybody knows your name. We have people who come in and don’t even have to order because we know exactly what they want. We have huge, huge repeat business, locals and tourists alike. We have two banquet rooms to accommodate every possible celebration you can think of. And it’s not just locals; we have people flying in just to have a party here. For instance, the Piano Lounge is booked solid the entire month of December for holiday parties."
